Wings of Power is the first series created by Ludmilla Radchenko in Dubai, marking a new chapter not only geographically, but artistically and personally.
The series emerged during a year of profound transformation, initiated by a journey to Nepal. Immersed in a culture where inner work is openly practiced, the artist encountered a philosophy that does not divide the human being into “good” and “bad,” but into conscious and unconscious.
At the core of the series lies a powerful duality. The tigers embody the Seven Deadly Sins — not as moral judgments, but as fundamental human forces: instinct, desire, fear, excess, anger, pride, and inertia. They represent what lives in the body, in impulse, and in survival.
Opposite them appear the Wings — not as decoration, nor as escape, but as the opposing force of awareness, elevation, and transformation. They bring these forces to the surface, draw them out of the shadows, and allow them to be seen.
Within this dialogue, nothing is denied. Sin is not destroyed — it is revealed, understood, and transformed. Each work captures a moment of tension between falling and rising, instinct and consciousness, limitation and liberation.
Wings of Power is ultimately a series about self-observation — about the courage to confront one’s own shadows, and the strength to grow wings from them.
Created in Dubai, born from Nepal, and rooted in a year in which the artist herself crossed from one version of self into another.
