Metamorphosis

The creativity of Siberian pop artist Ludmilla Radchenko has always extended beyond pure artistic expression on canvas, embracing stimuli from fashion and design. From a Motomorphosis proposal, Ludmilla's inventiveness is now applied to the world of motorcycles, thanks to a project that since 2009 has been committed to promoting education, safety, and road mobility throughout Italy. Within this initiative, various artists, designers, manufacturers, institutions, companies, sponsors, enthusiasts, and students are called upon to support the dissemination of safety culture, contributing both as citizens and by actively participating in the creation of artist-designed motorcycles. Ludmilla Radchenko has embraced the challenge, personalizing with her art and her distinctive pop colors a full-scale fiberglass motorcycle model; the inspiration for this particularly unique artwork, different from everything the artist has infused with her creativity to date, comes from the natural contrast between two universes: the masculine and the feminine. Men are from Mars, women are from Venus; accepting this iconic phrase with confidence, the artist dedicates one side of the motorcycle to each of the two genders, thus contrasting feminine character with masculine strength, while connecting the two worlds through energetic colors, symbols of the determined nature that unites strong and dynamic men and women. The artwork thus represents masculine and feminine icons par excellence, thanks to the collage technique and details cut from newspapers that characterize the two figures.
